Kylyn's 13th Birthday Cake
This little girl was very particular about what kind of cake she wanted. I had never done a gumpaste show of this size before, nor made anything from sugar, so she gave me challenge. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. My shoe making skills still need quite a bit of work, but at least it looks like a shoe. :)

Paityn's 1st Birthday
Her smash cake
This cake made me very popular with the ladies that attended the party. I've had 4 requests to do cakes for their kids. CHA-CHING!!!

It's finished!!!
And it didn't fall over on the way to their house. YAY! I waited to put the very top tier on when I got there. The 2 tiers was extremely heavy, so I didn't want to chance putting another one on it. I was sure it would topple over then.
It really wasn't as hard as I expected either. Icing them was the hardest part. It helps a lot when the cakes have been crumb coated and chilled. I made a bow, but it was too big & heavy so it wouldn't stay on the cake.
I'm happy with the way it turned out...I guess I'll attempt another one soon.
