Baby Update...

Had my 2nd Level 2 sono done on the 24th, everything still looks good. I bought a DVD, but the file extension it is saved at won't let me update it. Not that it matters, she didn't want to cooperate anyhow. At first she was laying on her tummy so we couldn't see her face, then she turned but apparently she likes to keep one arm in front of her face. We couldn't get a good face picture because it was either on her nose or in front of one eye. And she wouldn't turn enough to get a profile pic. I guess she's gonna be stubborn just like her daddy. :) But, her growth is right on schedule and I don't have to see the specialists again unless my OB feels it necessary. Now, if these next 3 months will speed on by like the others have I'd be a happy camper...and so would my hips!

October's Dr. Visit

The appointment went very well. I actually felt this time I was getting my moneys worth! The last few appointments have been such a waste of time. Nothing like paying $160 to pee in a cup! I got to hear the heartbeat...finally, had some blood drawn, and got my flu shot. My sono is scheduled for 11/11...YAY!!!! I can't wait. And if I was never sure before if what I was feeling is movement, I'm sure now. If it continues to go as crazy as it is right now, I'm in trouble later when it's bigger.


I can't wait to not call it an IT anymore. :)

It's beginning to look a lot like a nursery

It's slowly coming together. I don't think I had this much done so soon with my other two. It's such a relief knowning I have this much so far. Thank God for my parents and friends!! I decided to reuse the bedding that was used for Makenzie. I really liked it and it still looks brand new! No since in spending all that money on another one. Besides, that leaves more money for the fun stuff! :) There's still a ways to go though. I want to paint the walls, get some sheers for the window, some more wall decor, and I want to put the baby's name above the bed. Hopefully he or she (probably she lol) won't have a problem showing their "stuff" off when we finally get the sono, which will be sometime next month...YAY!! Anyways, here are some pics of what the room looks like so far.

Forgot to take my camera, so you get to see the crappy camera phone pic. She picked lime green & hot pink as her wedding colors, which ended up looking really pretty at the wedding. They were using flamingo figurines on the tables outside at the reception, which gave me the idea to put them on the cake.
