A good friend of mine is getting married in Mexico next month. We did bright colored icing with chocolate shells, and umbrella picks.

Hudsyn's 1st Birthday
This cake was based off the party decorations.
The cupcake was the birthday girls smash cake. And she ate the entire thing!
Austin Cake Convention 2011
I went to my first cake convention a few months ago. While there I took a couple of classes from some well known cake artists. One class was to learn how to make 3D cookie. This was mine.
All the supplies were provided, and the instructor show us step by step how to assembly everything. I was pretty excited to learn something new, and something that no one I know offers. I still have my fish at home too. I can't bring myself to throw him away. Unfortunately his worm didn't make it...my daughter ate it as soon as I brought him home.
Kylyn's 13th Birthday Cake
This little girl was very particular about what kind of cake she wanted. I had never done a gumpaste show of this size before, nor made anything from sugar, so she gave me challenge. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. My shoe making skills still need quite a bit of work, but at least it looks like a shoe. :)
